Firefighter Training in Lunenburg County

Complete AMFR Course

Walden Fire Department

Walden is hosting a full MFR course on:
- Friday, March 6, 2020 from 1800 to 2200 hours
- Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 0800 to 1600 hours
- Sunday, March 8, 2020 from 0800 to 1600 hours
- Saturday, March 14, 2020 from 0800 to 1600 hours
- Sunday, March 15, 2020 from 0800 to 1600 hours

Dave Morrison, of St. John's Ambulance, is the instructor.

LRFES Annual Spring Training

18 April 2020 in Lunenburg

The Lunenburg Regional Fire & Emergency Services (LRFES) is holding a firefighter training day on April 18, 2020, location for the training day is in the Town of Lunenburg with some of the training activities being held in the area. This will be a full day of training activities with knowledgeable instructors and training evolutions designed to keep you busy and gain knowledge to put more tools into your toolbox of knowledge or hone them up. Come out have some fun share in some laughs and get some good training. Registration information will be coming your way soon keep a lookout for them.

If any of the local are ladies auxiliary are interested in providing nutrition breaks( one in the morning and one in the afternoon) and are also able to provide a lunch. Possibly there maybe a couple of you willing to take one of the breaks or lunch to lessen your workloads. We would be interested to hear from you.

Your training committee has picked the following four training areas for your training day.

  1. Basic Firefighting training
  2. Vehicle Extrication theory and practical
  3. Rural Water Supply theory and practical
  4. Officer enhancement for upcoming officers, new and experienced officers.
